It has yellow-green, spoon-shaped leaves that form a low mat-like shape and delicate star-shaped pink flowers that bloom from mid-summer to early fall. This drought-tolerant plant is native to western North America and is widely grown as a ground cover. It prefers indirectly sunny locations and well-drained soil. The plant is low maintenance, easy to care for, and an excellent choice for rock gardens, pathways, and borders.
